Another great show for Jack Gravely. The Rev. Leonidas Young made an apology to Richmond and made his pleas for a second chance at political office.
Best part of the interview was a call by Marty Jewell that called out Rev. Young. Rev. Young responded with an analogy to Apostle Paul and Martin Luther King being incarcerated. As if he just “got caught”, and others haven’t. A response that shows he thinks everyone does something wrong. This is what Con Artist are known for, trying to make it seem like they are just everyday people.
Marty pointed out that Young went to prison for underhandedly stealing money from old people, not leading a march for injustice. Rev. Young wants to be in the limelight and is power hungry. Luckily, Jack Gravely allows for callers to disagree instead of the interview being a warm, cuddly talk by the fireplace.
Young is a pretty nifty talker, and his charm works with his parishioners. Hopefully they want be his next victims.
