Lynn C. Toler, is the judge on the television series Divorce Court. Toler is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She earned an undergraduate degree in English and American Literature from Harvard (1981) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1984). Judge Toler is the author of My Mother’s Rules: A Practical Guide to Becoming an Emotional Genius.
Bill is the CEO of LowCards.com a free consumer resource helping people understand the complex world of credit cards. He is the co-author of “The Credit Card Guidebook”. He is a frequent financial contributor on Forbes, The Street and The Christian Science Monitor. Bill will discuss the rise in ATM fees and the cost of using credit/debit cards today.
Congressman Scott will discuss the President’s jobs bill, Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) relationship with the President and pending redistrict bill for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Professor Alexander will discuss her best selling book, “The New Jim Crow – Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness”. Professor Alexander joined the OSU faculty in 2005. She holds a joint appointment with the Moritz College of Law and the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity. Professor Alexander is a graduate of Stanford Law School and Vanderbilt University. She will appear at the Landmark theater, Laurel and Main Street, Richmond, Virginia, Monday, September 26, 2011, @ 7:00 PM.
