Ted was born on January 5, 1948 in Oakland, California, USA as Theodore William Lange. He is an actor and director, known for The Love Boat (1977), That’s My Mama (1974) and Last of the Romantics (2007). A graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lange has written twenty three plays and garnered multiple theatrical awards.
Dr. Lauri Wright completed an undergraduate degree in Dietetics from The Ohio State University, the combined master’s/dietetic internship from Case Western Reserve/Cleveland VA Hospital and earned her PhD from USF. Dr. Wright practiced as a Registered Dietitian with the VA Hospitals for twenty years. She is an Assistant Professor for University of South Florida, College of Public Health. Her work on AIDS nutrition was groundbreaking and she continues to work with HIV in Africa. Dr. Wright has worked with malnutrition clinics in the Dominican Republic and Uganda. She works with food insecure children. Dr. Wright is past President of the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
