Prof. Delores Jones-Brown, J.D., PH.D., is a Professor in the Department of Law, Police Science and Criminal Justice Administration at John Jay College and is founding director of the Center on Race, Crime and Justice. She is also a former New Jersey prosecutor.  She will discuss her studies in the area of Black and Police relations in America.

Dr. Jeffries also works with the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.  Dr. Jeffries will bring his perspectives on the racial, political and social  aspects of the turmoil in Ferguson, Missouri.

Former child star best known for her role as Dee Thomas on the ABC sitcom What’s Happening!!, which ran from 1976 to 1979.
After ‘What’s Happening’ got cancelled in 1979, Danielle in 1983, went to University Of California to pursue a degree in medicine, she was inspired to by her stepfather, Tim Pelt. Spencer attended Tuskegee University Veterinary School in Alabama and became a veterinarian in 1996
